36 Days of Type Lettering Challenge

36 Days of type is an illustration and lettering challenge that happens each Spring on instagram. For, yep, 36 days in a row, designers create each letter of the alphabet plus the numbers. (Spoiler alert! I didn’t do the numbers.)

In 2019 I decided to take on the challenge and push myself to come up with something every single day! It turned in to, not only a way to improve my skills and help to develop my illustration style, it also allowed me fun ways to share my interest and personality.

For each letter, I ended up choosing a movie or song that I enjoy and turning that into a fun illustration that incorporated the day’s letter.
